LTE GLASS AND ALUMINIUM STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS Herewith below the standard terms and conditions applicable to the project and contract for the scope of work as set out in the quotation between LTE Glass and Aluminium PTY (LTD) and the Client, with the client being the direct recipient of the quotation whether private individual, company or contractor. Any third party to the Client (contractor or company client) will not be considered in this agreement and LTE Glass and Aluminium cannot be held liable for any agreements between our client and their third party. The prices on this quotation are valid for 30 days only and for the quantities and description as listed on the quotation unless otherwise stated. If this quotation is not accepted within 30 days from date of issue, a revised quotation will be issued and prices are subject to change. Although all due care is taken in the preparation of this quote, the quotation is our interpretation of the products to be manufactured and therefore it is recommended that the client pay very special attention to and confirm that all the units are included and that colour, size, configuration and quantities are in fact correct and acceptable. By signing this quotation and/or making payment of the deposit, it will be taken that the client accepts all pricing, lead times, terms and conditions and design elements of the project as set out in the quotation. If a quotation is accepted and order is placed on an order below and up to a total cost of R5000.00 (excluding VAT), the amount needs to be paid in full before any work will commence. If quotation is accepted and order is placed on an order exceeding a total cost R5000.00 (excluding VAT), a 70% deposit of the total amount is payable on the placement of the order. This deposit is non-refundable as products are made to order. Should the client cancel the order – LTE Glass and Aluminium will retain the 70% deposit and a cancellation fee will be charged to the clients account. The balance thereof (30% of the total amount) is payable within 48 hours (2 days) after work has been finalized. Failure to make final payment will result in LTE Glass and Aluminium, without prejudice, reserving the right to commence with legal proceedings in order to recover the fees owed by you as well as the goods, which will remain the full and legal property of LTE Glass and Aluminium until full and final payment has been made. All communications may be tendered as evidence of your failure to pay and legal action may result in all legal costs and interests incurred to be at your cost as well. Once deposit has been made and is reflected in account, lead-time for installation will be 10-15 working days, unless otherwise indicated to you by your sales representative. Installation times will vary depending on the status of site once installation commences as well as the size of the project. Dates and times will be communicated to you via your sales representative. Additional call out fees will be charge should the client or builder request measurements to be taken or fail to inform LTE Glass and Aluminium of any changes required to the installation date due to the site not being ready. This quotation is subject to the availability and ruling prices of materials and is subject to change once final measurements have been taken. be considering when a substantial deviation is noted (+-50mm excluding tolerance allowances) between the original quoted measurements and the final measurements before manufacturing. Note that all products will remain the property of LTE Glass and Aluminium Pty (LTD) until paid for in full. This quotation excludes all building, plastering and/or masonry work. Cleaning of the windows/doors and the removal of protective tapes and plastic wrapping is to be done by the contractor/builder on completion of plastering and painting (if applicable). While all care is taken, LTE Glass and Aluminium cannot be held liable for tiles cracking when drilling in dust sockets. LTE Glass and Aluminium will, with all care and to the best of its ability, try to repair/service/correct damage and faults to products that have been manufactured and installed by another company, but cannot be held liable to the integrity thereof or for any additional faults, damages or repairs arising therefrom. This quotation is based upon of the sizes of the product quoted and the preparation of the apertures (if applicable) is the responsibility of the builder. The apertures of the building will be premeasured prior to commencement of manufacturing. LTE Glass and Aluminium is not responsible for floors, reveals, sills or apertures being out of level or square. Should there be a major variation in cost due to size changes, this will be billed separately. LTE Glass and Aluminium reserves the right to charge a call out fee and any additional costing that may be required for items that may need to be repaired/refitted due to changes to the building or negligent damage by other trades. Any defects in workmanship or material that may occur after completion must be given in written notice within 7 days after installation is completed, subject to correct handling and use of windows and doors. Where products are found to be faulty due to mishandling, all costs of the repair will be for the clients account. All repairs and/or replacement of products are subject to our Standard Warranty Certificate and the terms and conditions laid out therein. LTE Glass and Aluminium is SAGGA-accredited and therefore all products are manufactured and glazed as per SAGGA specification and regulations. Any special requests (i.e. A SAGGA Certificate of Approval) that are not noted on the quotation will incur additional fees for the clients account. If you accept the terms and conditions as laid out above, and accept the information on the quotation to be true, correct and acceptable according to your project as specified, please sign confirmation below and send to info@ltealuminium.co.za and to your sales representative. Please note that this document will supersede your purchase order, email amendments and any verbal communication. Any dispute will be based ONLY on the documentation that you are about to sign. Should you not return the signed document, payment of your deposit will be acknowledged as acceptance of this project. |
